Maybee has earned a reputation among her peers as the lyricist with a golden touch. Her track record includes a long list of hits such as Lee Hyo Lee's 10 Minutes and Get Ya, MC Mong's "A Letter For You", and Kim Jong Kook's "Addiction". In 2006, Maybee stepped onto the center stage with her first single "Da So" from Maybee Vol. 1 - A Letter From Abell 1689 which levitated her status as the next rising ballad singer. After a year of absence, the multi-talented artist returns with her second album, Maybee Vol. 2 - Luv Cloud .
Once again, Maybee collaborates with producer Kim Gun Woo who worked wonders for her first album. Others who participated in this new album include Ha Jung Ho and Lee Sang Jun, who produced hits like Fly to the Sky's "I Love You" and Buzz's "Don't Know Men". All fourteen tracks were written by Maybee, and reveal her true colors as a songwriter. Maybee Vol. 2 - Luv Cloud is a multi-dimensional record with songs of different genres, from pop rock to jazz to Bossa Nova. Compared to the first album, her second package provides an extra dosage of sensitivity and polished vocals. The principle song, "The Ugly" (Track 3), is a short essay about the demise of love as one man gradually loses attraction for his woman. This song is bound to hit home among many listeners with heartbreaking stories of their own.
