The boys from NEWS are back to treat fans to their follow-up to Hoshi wo Mezashite, which brought them another Oricon no. 1 hit. weeeek was penned and composed by the much-talked-about pop quartet GreeeeN and is also the CM song for Crymson/RUSS-K, a popular brand of stylish Western clothes in Japan. It's been almost 2 ½ years since the Johnny's group NEWS released their debut album touch, which went all the way to the no. 1 spot on the Oricon charts. Now the stellar six-member group led by Yamashita Tomohisa is back to present their follow-up album, pacific, featuring 13 songs including the previous no. 1 singles TEPPEN and Hoshi wo Mezashite. Fans looking for new material will be richly rewarded with Change the World, featured in a commercial for education supplier Bennesse's "Jinken Zemi" program. NEWS supporters should also be glad to find the songs "Chirarism" (Track 8), code, and "Gomen ne Juliette" (Track 11, penned and composed by Tomohisa), as well as other previously unreleased material.
The Normal Edition comes with the bonus tracks, Mafuyu no Nagareboshi and Sono Egao Boku ni Misete and a 16-page booklet. The Limited Edition comes with a deluxe 32-page NEWS booklet.
